D15 Diversity Plan supporters celebrated when they got the racial composition when it was by design. Data is now coming out to show that all kids have suffered academically. 7th grade math scores dropped from 81% grade proficient in 2019 to 48% in 2022.

While racial composition under the D15 Diversity Plan was going in the "right" direction at MS51, the top school in the district -- Black 7.6% to 9.7%, Hisp 20% to 36%, the academic performance for all groups tanked; most dramatically for the Black students at MS51.
