This week we are doing a "Battle of the Books". First graders vote on which book was their favorite on mentimeter. The books have similar themes such as courage. It's our version of March madness. The themes help encourage students to build positive character traits. #CCchats

A2 Students learn that everyone has a strength. Collaboration helps them not only learn academically, but they learn positives about their classmates. While researching animal habitats, they found out who had common interests and who knew a lot about specific animals. #ccschats
