Many in the space industry are motivated primarily by technologies. But for space startups to be successful, they have to avoid pursuing technologies simply because they are interesting and instead use them to solve problems. buff.ly/355IlP1

Running #LightningNetwork node for paying for the Blockstream Satellite service. It only has 150.000 sats in 2 channels as one message only costs ~25 sats. Now node cannot pay because of the high-fee BTC market. Not going to add liquidity because of same reason. Frustrating.

Updating the BitlinqAPI python code. Chasing this bug for a few days that apparantly underscores (=____) are not allowed in Telegram Messenger messages (that are used for status control)

Merry Xmas & Happy Newyear. Message send out through our service and globally broadcasted by Blockstream Satellite. And received again in the Eye On Orbit teleport. Thanks also to Lacuna Space for all the support this year. We will be back in 2021 for global roll-out!

Unfortunately, the MIT feasibility subsidy from Provincie Zuid-Holland didn't come through. It's a lottery in the end and our lottery number (425) was too high to be granting our excellent proposal 😪. But back on feet again. In talks with a 2nd LEO IOT provider!

Did full maintenance cycle for the Eye On Orbit teleport. Now running on Ubuntu 20.04, more storage, Blockstream satellite update and ₿itlinq.space version 3.0. And the vineyard is proper again.
