A joy to be leading the pilgrimage from Leighton Bromswold (George Herbert’s church) to Little Gidding (Nicholas Ferrar’s church) with the theme of ‘paying attention’. At the moment I’m paying attention to skylarks singing their part of let all the world in every corner sing!

Come explore positive environmental actions for our churches and practical steps to achieving net zero by 2030.

A good gathering with Diocese of Norwich rural deans today, including midday prayers on Head Gardener

One year on from the Coronation, and it still seeming as if it were the most bizarre dream, my prayers continue for HM King Charles III and HM Queen Camilla.

Today has been spent on the east and west sides of Diocese of Norwich , this evening to preach and dedicate the great new facilities at All Saints’ King’s Lynn. “Welcome the stranger as if they are Christ”, “for by doing that, some have entertained angels without knowing it”.

Good to be with the people of St Benedict’s Gunton and St Margaret’s Hopton on Sea at their services this morning, and then their lite bite lunch - much appreciated by those who live alone.

A wonderful celebration last night in Norwich Cathedral for the 30th anniversary of women being ordained priest. Four of the original 20 women ordained joined us in person, and others on line. All the music was by women composers and Sally Theakston preached an excellent sermon.
