I'm in tears watching #School Very sad watching everyone- head, teachers, children, parents- struggle due to lack of money in education

Just watched #School and in utter shock. Children being failed , teachers being failed and the answer is more inspections and more pressure. The whole situation just felt utterly desperate.

If I had a pound for each time the Tories claimed funding was at record levels, when in fact it has fallen in real terms, I'd have a shitload of pounds.

Some of our borough contacts have asked if the Bisham scandal could have anything to do with Ms Alexander choosing to walk the plank rather than face difficult questions from stretched local schools about why Bisham has had so much money spent on it when less than 50 pupils.

Are our council insiders right about bitter rows between key senior figures esp Dudley & Alexander prior to her shock departure. Tarrantino teaches us that avarice & dubious ideologies make people strange bedfellows - when the shit hits the fan they tend to turn on each other...

Wonder when some bright reporter will finally track down what really was at the bottom of the scandalous takeover of Bisham & its subsequent dramatic decline in pupils & standards but massive rise in investment and staff turnover...There is an untold story here no doubt...

Getting rid of Ofsted is long long long overdue

Brings back bad memories of how Bisham's loved HT Jim Cooke & long serving staff were treated by Ofsted & RBWM (they came in at 3.15 with a locksmith & changed locks/took keys off staff infront of 5 yr olds despite promising 24hrs earlier they'd "work with the school & parents"
