The city of Fayette was finally able to hold their recognition event this week.

Three of the BFI committee members were honored to meet with the Cedar Falls city council last night to present them with their formal recognition as a Bird Friendly Iowa community.

Bird Friendly Iowa is the recipient of a REAP grant to contract with a part-time coordinator. Watch for a job posting by the end of the month.

Bird Friendly Iowa (BFI) is seeking an independent contractor interested in serving as the Bird Friendly Iowa Communities Facilitator. See the RFP on our home page (birdfriendlyiowa.org) for more detail. Proposals are due via email by 5:00 PM, February 11, 2022.
