We're delighted to be at the 36th ordinary Session of the African Union Assembly to engage with Heads of State on neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) and to get such a warm reception from Presidents of Senegal and Kenya ! Macky Sall Présidence Sénégal William Samoei Ruto, PhD State House Kenya

WAHO, in collaboration with her Partners, is organizing a technical meeting of the Sahel Malaria Elimination Initiative in Praia, Cabo Verde on 29-31 March 2023. The meeting was opened by Mr Evandro Monteiro, Secretary of State (Adjoint) who represented the Minister of Health.

10 members of ECOWAS were recognized for the gains they made in tackling #NTDs among 21 African countries that successfully eliminated at least 1 NTD. Both Ghana 🇬🇭& Benin 🇧🇯 got a Major Achievement Award for each eliminating 3 NTDs. Read more: bit.ly/3XM0dcB #BeatNTDs
