Took the L today trying shorts after both ES and NQ hit the daily FVG above us. I was conflicted because to me the 4hr looks bullish but was looking for us to revisit London EQLs. In hindsight, could have sat out since I felt uncertain. -$380 on each acc, calling it a day here.

Sorry for the longer post but just wanted to share some thoughts I’ve had on this journey just in case there are any newer traders who see this. I’ve been seriously trading now for almost 3 yrs (3 in may) and I’ve had lots of “rewarding” feelings (and LOTS of shitty ones lol).

Stayed on the charts a bit too long today. Turned a BE day red. 1 BE then 1 L. Missed longs in the AM and after that rocket in the AM, should have called it a day. Attempted a long from a 3 min inverse 1:1 delivering up out of the hourly FVG just now and took the L. -$402 on

Man this hurts. I don’t market in, I use the DOM on Tradovate and I just click into price soon as I get my candle closure entry. When I did, price popped, missing my entry. Dragged it up a little and price kept pushing, got too far away for entry. Might start marketing in.
