We discussed the impact of fast fashion during our meeting yesterday & the students suggested some excellent ways to target this; use of the app ‘depop’ & starting a school uniform recycling system! Watch this space..

Fantastic day 2 of summit today! Pupils empowered to start to come up with ideas and solutions for our school 🏫 to make it more sustainable! So far, they have created a Google form for pupils , written two letters, planned a video assembly, swap shop & litter app! 1.5 MAX: Global Schools Summit

Third & final day of the 1.5 MAX: Global Schools Summit global schools summit today where pupils put in place solutions, made connections & pledges to support sustainable change in our school! Well done team! What an amazing, inspiring & productive few days!

Fantastic first week of out swap shop! One of the initiatives to come out of 1.5 MAX: Global Schools Summit! This week, at least 50 items have been saved from landfill & we’ve made £48 to go back into sustainable projects! Keep bringing in your unloved clothes,uniform (good condition) & books 📚

Great effort from the group today & we’ve got lots of ideas for moving forward!:)
