In May of 2016, near the town of Freeburg, Minnesota, a mushroom hunter came across a peculiar yet phenomenal sight while exploring for fungi in a forest about a mile from the Mississippi River: a set of dead and conjoined white-tailed fawns.

A photograph of two Dutch engineers embracing each other moments before their deaths after a fire ignited on a windmill they were doing maintenance on. One of the engineers jumped off to avoid being burned alive, while the other tried to escape but was ultimately trapped inside.

These are photographs of the residence where serial murderer Edmund Kemper, the "Co-ed Killer," lived in Aptos, California, and the corner where police arrested him in Pueblo, Colorado, on April 24th, 1973, a few days after killing his mother and her friend back in his home.
