Mizzou’s second matchup against Missouri State will see Keyler Gonzalez making his first Division 1 start. Keyler will face former Tiger Brock Lucas who also pitched a long relief outing in last week’s Missouri victory. #MizzouNOW

- Walk - Steal second - Bunt to third (or steal third) - Sacrifice fly "Whiteyball" was a game of motion. It was the most exciting brand of baseball I've ever seen. #STLCards

Takeaways from Mizzou’s 9-6 loss against Oklahoma: -Jase Woita had a career day with TWO HRs accounting for half of the Tiger offense. Woita’s veteran leadership has shined through an inconsistent Tiger offense. #MizzouNOW

-Blaize Ward hits his first BOMB as a collegiate baseball player. Ward’s work at the plate has helped catapult a cold Missouri offense. -Five days of rest for the Tiger offense paid off. Adjustments were made and Mizzou did plenty enough at the plate to pull off the victory.

-Josh McDevitt’s start was full of highs and lows. Following the rough second inning, McDevitt shut down thirteen out of the next fifteen Sooner batters before another rough seventh inning. Three HRs spoiled an otherwise decent start.

-Overall, despite the loss, very impressed by the effort from a cold Tiger baseball team. Losing is contagious, but the early symptoms are starting to clear up for Missouri.

Takeaways from Mizzou’s 4-0 loss against Oklahoma: -Inconsistency strikes again. Of course you’re going to have tough offensive outings, but it’s impossible to win without runs. The Jekyll and Hyde of Missouri’s offense continues its presence. #MizzouNOW

-Zero hits with runners in scoring position for Missouri this afternoon. My message continues, SEC play gives few scoring opportunities, and Missouri has failed this season to properly capitalize on these opportunities.

Black & Gold Fan Zone (@bgfanzone) 's Twitter Profile Photo

-Another decent start for Missouri pitching. Brady Kehlenbrink continues his high K totals with TEN this afternoon. -Trey Lawrence’s bullpen performances continue to be GREAT. A scoreless two innings with three Ks for the former Missouri shortstop.

-The time for a turnaround is slowly dwindling. Following the 15-2 start, Missouri has now lost seventeen out of their last twenty-two games. Missouri has just got to learn how to win, it’s as simple as that.

Takeaways from Mizzou’s 8-4 loss against Oklahoma: -Missouri’s sixth consecutive loss encapsulated the team’s highs and lows throughout the entire season thus far. The offense’s two-out hitting wasn’t enough and the pitching’s slow start gave Missouri a deficit early. #MizzouNOW

-Missouri mixes up the lineup and it works with varying results. Maisonet takes advantage of his opportunity off the bench with two hits, while some other Tigers couldn’t build off rally opportunities. -Kaden Peer has three singles which kickstart multiple two-out Tiger rallies.

Black & Gold Fan Zone (@bgfanzone) 's Twitter Profile Photo

-Javyn Pimental struggles in his return from injury. Pimental surrenders four runs through 1.1 IP. -Four Missouri relievers combine for FOUR scoreless innings. Drew, Villarreal, Rosand, Salas pitch to perfection with just four Ks and just two hits surrendered.

Black & Gold Fan Zone (@bgfanzone) 's Twitter Profile Photo

-The fight in this Missouri team is undeniable. However, a fight isn’t worth much without the results to show it in the win column. Mizzou has the ability to pull off these types of comeback victories, we’ve seen it before, but they just can’t seem to get over this losing skid.

A point of emphasis in Kerrick Jackson's press conferences last season was the "Revolving Door of Players" due to injuries and other happenings with our starters. Here is the color coded "Revolving Door of Players" through the first 40 games of 2026. #MizzouNOW
