The History of Danson by Ruth Hutcherson tells us of the origin of #Danson (or Densynton) and its medieval tenants. It was the ambitious John Boyd who built a new villa on the hill. In 1924 the estate became a public park. Book available from #BexleyArchives. #LocalHistory
