#Fusariumwilt popping out early on seedlings again this year in Gwydir (4 of 9 surveyed fields by far). The prevalence and mortality are highly concerned. We need your eyes out there to thoroughly monitor the disease, so give us a yell for any unusual dead plants.

#Alternarialeafspot, often a minor disease on seedlings. Under favorable conditions, cotton can be hit hard. Only seen 1 in 32 surveyed fields by far with this high level of infection. CRDC funds us to look into Alternaria population/control options. DM if interested.

I’m not going south this year, but our disease survey team Beth Shakeshaft kokeeffe are out and about the #Murrumbidgee and #Lachlan now. Give them a wave if driving pass. Black root rot remains the greatest concern for seedling health there. Pics credit to Beth!
