3rd graders and I were working on sounds to say for -ed. Trying it out on the word “turned”a kiddo said “turnt”. I said I wasn’t cool enough to use that word. Students didn’t know what I meant but Nick Pettit thought it was funny! #formalobservation 🤦🏻♀️ #guidedreadingisfun
