Over on Instagram Tom Kerridge has posted this about the 27 people who booked for Kerridge’s Bar & Grill on Saturday night and didn’t turn up. It’s a completely justifiable howl of rage. If you book a restaurant, either go or cancel in good time. Don’t be a dick and just not show.

Let me introduce you to one of my all time favourite dishes. This is belly pork, on the bone, slow cooked, marinated and then roasted in my homemade barbecue sauce. Rich, soft, delicious. Enjoy

So, a lot of thinking yesterday about what to do during a second lockdown. Whether to switch to offering a takeaway menu or just close. Not an easy decision, but Ben's Bystro will now be closed until further notice. I’m gutted. Hope you all stay safe. Big love and hugs x
