200 blk of Military West between W 2nd St & W 3rd St closed in both directions for utility repair. Please use W K St or W M St for detour.

Early this morning, there was a water main break near the 800 and 900 blocks of East 5th Street. St. Dominic's School and homes in the area are currently without water (see map of affected area). Public Works has begun working on the repair to restore water service ASAP.

Yesterday morning, a water main line break was detected on East 5th Street. City of Benicia Public Works crews worked around the clock to repair the line and restore water to affected residents this morning. Thank you to our dedicated crews!

Please avoid the area from 2950 Bayshore to Oak rd. PD is on scene working an incident.

Westbound Interstate-780 at East 2nd Street is closed currently due to an overturned tanker truck. Emergency crews will be on-scene all day due to the crash. We have requested the Solano County Hazmat team to respond and CHP SOLANO is investigating the incident.

Lake Herman Rd will be closed between Reservoir Rd and Lake Herman Park for an accident investigation between 10am-11am today. Please use I-780 as an alternate route.

The city of Benicia is aware of a loss of water service to parts of the Benicia Industrial Park. Our Public Works crews are actively working the situation. Currently there is no estimated time of restoration. Updates to follow.
