Elon Musk and Donald Trump think that the presidency gives them the chance to violate our Constitution, violate the rule of law, and violate Congressional powers. Their unchecked rampage will not stand.

Trump and Musk are slashing our federal workforce and it will devastate services to our veterans and those who rely on the VA's care.

The first of my demands for a takeover of the Democratic party was a blackballing of every single person who concealed that Biden was in cognitive decline and obviously not capable of serving for four more years. A bunch of people questioned this demand.

People in the Biden admin did not govern like this was the sacred duty that their voters had demanded of them. They did not govern like they'd been asked to stand up for the rule of law. They cannot possibly have believed without culpable willful ignorance that Biden was fine.

I think they ran him for president again in 2024 because they, personally, would stay in power if he won. They convinced themselves that he was fine, that he could win, but they couldn't convince the country. They betrayed the voters for the sake of power.

.@HHS will now manage programs for students with disabilities and special needs following President Trump's executive order to eliminate the Department of Education yesterday. Secretary Robert Kennedy has no business overseeing education programs for our most vulnerable students.

If a superpower were intent on engineering its own decline, it would antagonize its allies, paralyze its economy with the certainty of uncertainty, erode confidence in the world’s reserve currency, discard due process, defund medical and scientific research, sabotage the most

It's Day 97, tax bills arrived in #waleg. WA Senate Democrats used their majority to pass 3. Left wealth tax off the docket. Ds in House Finance advanced four bills that could get floor votes Monday. No word on where Governor Bob Ferguson stands on them all. Lot of moving parts still.

Today I signed Rep. Dave Paul’s bill extending a pilot program that increases college and career pathways for high school students. These programs allow students to earn high-school and college or technical education credit simultaneously. Thank you Rep. Paul.

If Democrats want to build a durable majority again, they should look to Colorado. We win by putting economic security first, challenging conventional party wisdom, and uniting around solutions that actually work. That's the Colorado Way. politico.com/news/magazine/…
