Southern Nevada District Health Officer Dr. Fermin Leguen just announced his intention to retire in 2025. As a native Spanish speaker, Leguen helped make public health info more accessible to Spanish speakers. Before NV, Leguen worked in Cuba and on AIDS response in Ethiopia.
