Unusual request here for a contact - looking for a DIVORCE solicitor with experience of AUTISM? Unclear whether one or both partners is autistic but we need a knowledgeable and insightful matrimonial lawyer. Geography not too important. DM to CASCAIDr / [email protected]

Read this and consider your position - your grandchildren may want to know one day what you did in the war - the Covid-19 war - about the government's approach to care home residents, social care workers, CHC rights and "safe" hospital discharge. insights.doughtystreet.co.uk/post/102gcfh/s…

This successful public law appeal bodes well for the Admin Court's possible approach to the challenge to the government's March 2020 Care Homes and Hospital discharge policy... bbc.co.uk/news/amp/educa…

theguardian.com/society/2020/d… Would any lawyers - public lawyers, Care Act lawyers, MCA lawyers, Human Rights lawyers, regulatory, professional negligence, or health lawyers, or even civil service lawyers - who know about the Covid NHS indemnity, given by government - like to discuss?

amp.theatlantic.com/amp/article/61… a really good read about what the experience of having to make non-clinically driven treatment and equipment rationing decisions can do the mental health of medics - we would all try harder to comply, if we walked just one night in their shoes.

How about a panel to challenge a council's NOT spending - when it's got a statutory duty to do so, to meet someone's assessed, eligible, unmet needs in a non-arbitrary manner!? Eg. NHS funded packages for 4 visits a day, to implement Discharge to Assess? propertyweek.com/news/mhclg-app…

I can't wait for an election. Hoping for an end to governmental arrogance. In the meantime though, there's always judicial review. goodlawproject.org/update/the-jud…

Does it MATTER whether it's NI or CGT that pays for adequate social care when anyone can need it or give birth to someone who will need it forever? I smell a fabricated political wrangle as an excuse for doing nothing, not a proper debate about systemic underfunding of councils!

Call on your MP to ask Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javid to end the injustice affecting social care users such as Nadia who have no choice but to use meagre benefits income to pay for vital care support #ScrapCareCharges Find your MP here 👇👇 actionnetwork.org/letters/scrap-…

Maybe he's got daughters?! The impact on women of this approach takes them back 100 years! Does no other political party have any other vision? We've all let social care rights be disembowelled by AUSTERITY but integrating them into an NHS based on RATIONING ain't gonna help!

In my view, the man who has killed Sir David Amess is bound to be a person with poor or even unlawfully inadequate social care, housing, DWP or mental health support. And his ethnic origin is WHOLLY irrelevant to the reporting of this tragedy.

Belinda can hardly wait to find out how Gillian Keegan plans to reinvigorate the Care Act if over 40 councils' ASC teams are openly admitting that they can't discharge their statutory duties. Join Co-Produce Care on 7/03 here: ow.ly/c6s250I329f
