Thanks to the Christmas Jumper Day and the Canteen Committee both the Friends of the Cancer Centre and the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice charities received £1000 each. Thanks again to the support of staff in the Belfast Service Centre.

So we asked our Work Coaches in N London & South West to nominate some of their favourite Case Managers. So thanks guys for making our day. Our doors are closed now for Xmas and we wish all of our friends in London & South West a great festive break from everyone at Belfast UCFS.

Sheila Griffin's first experience in the Plaza Building was back when it was a ballroom! She came back to the Plaza in 1999 to join us and has now left 20 years later Literally a lifetime spent in the Plaza! Good luck in your retirement Sheila. We will miss you!

This evening I was delighted to have been invited to the signing of the mental health charter by the Department for work and pensions one of 150 companies now signed up to promote positive mental health

On the 27th September the Belfast SC had a bake off and coffee morning, raising £1000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Thank you to all staff who baked and contributed in making the event a success.

Today we celebrated 30 years of great service by our perfect gentleman, Pat McKevitt. All the best and good luck on your retirement Pat.
