Lots of presentations on implementation research using the CFIR and some using COM-B at #HSR2022 - major factor for the decision is ease of use including availability of practical tools for data collection and analysis

Digital systems work with humans. We need to work with both to create better health systems. Prof Steven McPhail, Academic Director AusHSI #hsr22

Effective implementation strategy to keep researchers engaged in a conference = put a panel discussion with major Australian and NZ funders in the final session 😅 never seen such a full last day, well done targeting our motivation Health Services Research Association of AU & NZ #HSR22

Great question to funders about adding more time to NHMRC and MRFF funded projects to enable more meaningful lived experience involvement. Gov's are generally not comfortable with grants longer than 5 years, making this difficult, but funders are open to extensions... #HSR22

Big themes from Health Services Research Association of AU & NZ conference from new president Alison - innovation across the sector - importance of meaningful lived experience involvement at this meeting & lessons learned for future - value of connection between attendees after 3 years without a f2f meeting #HSR22
