Today's #onlineartexchange theme is family and domestic interiors which gives us the opportunity to share 'The Harris Family' British (English) School held in the collection @southendmuseums. This group portrait is a fascinating glimpse of middle-class family life in the 1830s.

All works considered for selection will need to be physically delivered to the Beecroft between 11am on Wednesday 25th September and 4.30pm on Sunday 27th October.

Submitting glazed work is fine with us. The only request we have regarding framing is that if there’s no clear way to hang the artwork, we would need to work with the artist to figure out a display method. This applies to metal frames where adding a mirror plate isn’t feasible.
