Great to see Kelsey Park named in the article. The Council is investing over £2 million into the park for a new bridge, to desilt the lakes and for a new community garden (following a successful bid to the jubilee parks fund from the friends Group).

Thanks for writing this up. I kept digging on the salaries. One of Sadiq’s Deputy Mayors was kind enough to let me have the pay bands. Now, these are just TfL employees - Project Detroit’s 116 consultants are where the rest of the cost is. Pay-per-mile is part of their brief.

Also, if you think the maths is bad, a number of these contracts expire on 31st June…

This is my plan to make London safe. As Mayor, I will get a grip on crime.
