Hey mass spec friends! What is your favorite sample prep method for human saliva? I need to measure some small metabolites (no peptides) from saliva and have never dealt with this matrix before. Any tips or papers welcomed! #Chemistry #LCMS Am Soc for Mass Spec Please retweet!

Hey #PFAS researchers! Have you ever worried about what happens to PFAS when you dry down your sample after extraction? Read our (@aspiring_anna and Jeff Enders) latest paper that investigates the process efficiency of 49 PFAS. pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…

This makes me so angry. Growing up I had limited access to books due to my parents/school religious beliefs. I would have to sneak some books from friends or only read them at the public library. I feel so bad for these kids. Their world is going to become so small.

Hey Best Western Hotels & Resorts, can you help? BestWesternPlus Coastline Inn at Wilmington, North Carolina put an extra $90 charge on my credit card with no explanation. No one will answer the phone and their inbox is full. We paid in full prior to staying last weekend.

Time for perhaps the most damning stat of all: One in 25 American five-year-olds today will not make it to their 40th birthday. No parent should ever have to bury their child, but on average across the US one set of parents from every kindergarten class most likely will.

This!! Flip side: I have a hard time trusting scientists that say they can't cook. 🧐 I get not being able to make something from scratch but you can't follow a recipe?
