Currently from polling and predictions, i will be re-elected in Dublin South. Tonight, they have made their decision very clear, they want a local and vocal conservative champion. I would be re-elected in the first count for the second time.

I will always put motherhood first.

Over the next few weeks, my focus will be on reviewing and rebuilding Fine Gael with an incredible and talented parliamentary party. The Official frontbench will be announced shortly alongside appointments to my office as Leader of the Opposition.

This scandal is exposing the backroom deals and corruption that had plagued Irish politics for too long. My team and i will do everything within our powers to ensure that all those involved are held to account and that our politics is cleaned up.

🇮🇪💙 Today, I am encouraging the Government of Ireland to undertake Fine Gael’s plan to get Ireland Working Again. 🏘️ Our plan focuses on public priorities developed for the common good, plans to end the ideological obsession with policy based on stagnation and mismanagement.

My parliamentary office has now closed, therefore, I am no longer Dublin South’s TD. However, the Office of Desiraeral MI has been opened to maintain a record of my commitment to the people of Dublin South and the people of Ireland
