On Friday, a judge denied George Gascon’s motion & ruled that the DDA’s suit alleging that Gascón is breaking civil service rules by appointing public defenders, who are his political supporters, to high ranking positions & bypassing eligible DDA’s for promotion can move forward.

When a child or loved one is brutally murdered in LA, the family should not be praying and pleading that the elected DA does the right thing and files the appropriate charges and allegations. What happened to looking at the evidence and following the law? This is not justice.

Today, Gov Newsom viewed the Union Pacific aftermath after massive thefts and robberies. “Looks like a third world country.” 🤔 Newsom brought Gascón here. Gascón knew about this criminal activity for months and did nothing. Time to look in the mirror and take responsibility.

Gangs & Guns-two things George Gascón won’t even prosecute anymore in LA. He believes crime is the fault of everyone but those who commit it. Gov Newsom-he can’t even say “gangs.” If “leaders” refuse to prosecute it & won’t even talk about it, more innocents will suffer.

16-yr-old Tioni murdered. 13-yr-old Iran murdered. A 14-yr-old boy recently killed in Pasadena. George Gascón’s day 1 policies-not a single statement about protecting children. Think about that. Children are our most vulnerable. They are also our future. We must do better.
