BEACON, an interactive sculpture by Shervone Neckles, in partnership with Beam Center, presented by LLHM, has found a new home in Lewis Latimer's hometown of Chelsea. BEACON is inspired by Latimer's patent drawings & will be on view until October with a ribbon-cutting on 6/10.


Last weekend was the ribbon cutting of BEACON in Chelsea, MA, Lewis Latimer's birthplace. This 12-ft tall scupture, created by Shervone Neckles & Beam Center, celebrates Latimer's revolutionary inventions. Don't miss the chance to see it outside Chelsea City Hall until Oct!
