One of my favorite Robert Redford movies is “Sneakers.”

While I prefer college football (especially the JMU Dukes) I have been watching NFL games this season. I do not have a preferred team. I just enjoy the beauty of a competitive game.

So, football fans know what a yellow flag is for in a game. We notice it. Why the hell can’t people recognize all the bright red flags waving right now? Does someone need to throw one down on the ground for you to wake the fuck up?

The country is trillions of dollars in debt. Yet, the current administration is spending money hand over fist to satisfy the whims of a madman while doing nothing for Us regular tax paying citizens.

Oh my goodness! The powers that be continue to do their best to divide us. We are a diverse nation. When you get down to it, we all want the same things. We want security, food, shelter and clothing. Stop the political hatred. We are all human beings. Act like it!

I didn’t realize that 96 years ago today was the day the stock market crashed, triggering the Great Depression. I’m worried we might be heading in that direction again.
