Beacon hosted Liberty today in T+F. Beacon boys win 86-54. Girls win in a much closer 69-66. Team effort today with lots of athletes changing up their usual events to try some new things. Team photographer Aron Li scurried around to catch some of the action!

Beacon Track completing a highly successful evening at Somers. * Mihalchik and Nicholson 2nd + 4th in Class B javelin * Rudolph 5th in Class B Javelin * Both boys + girls F/S Sprint Medley Relays win! * Post meet ice cream acquired!

Girls SMR sets a freshman/sophomore school record of 4:37 highlighted by a 2:32 anchor leg (and huge personal best) by Stella Reinke(800). She was accomplished by Khloe Franklin(400), Claire Morgan(200), and Ruby Martin(200).

Boys winning effort in the Sprint Medley Relay. Two seconds off F/S school record! This was Timm on the 400 (pictured) in a sub-55, Facey and Signorelli on the 200’s, and Tripaldi with a season best 2:02 on the 800 anchor leg!

Currently in a weather delay at FDR, but that just provides some spare time to tweet good performances. This was Anajah Lamb leading off the Varsity SMR in a PR of 67 for the 400. West and Robinson ran good 200’s and Sanchez ran a PR 2:30 in the 800 to get us 2nd place

Not this guy….but the guy to the left wearing the Beacon uniform ran a F/S 1600 winning time of 4:50

They might not all know where the camera is, but they found their way to the medal stand nonetheless. Both boys and girls F/S sprint medley relay teams with great races this morning!

Beacon’s Jahcier Ballard with another PR in the High Jump. His 6’2” clearance is ranked #5 in Section 9 and tied his coach’s HS personal best 😁

Over at the shockingly dry discus circle (nice job FDR grounds crew after that deluge…) Jayden Mihalchik throws a big 136’ 2” to comfortably move into #6 All-Time for Beacon

Caellum Tripaldi ran a nice 2:01.5 to take 3rd in the Varsity 800. That’s ranked NYS #3 for freshman. (That follows a 2:02 in the earlier SMR relay - pictured below)

Beacon T+F had a good battle with Monticello and Eldred today in Beacon. Monticello prevailed on the boys side 89-52 and nipped the girls 71-57. Here are some of the best pictures from team photographer Aron Li…. * Boys 100

This is Jayden Mihalchik clearing 10 feet in the pole vault and only appearing to end up in a tree. But the most notable thing in Jayden’s day was a new PR 139’ 6” in the discus which moves him into 3rd on the All-time Beacon list!

This is junior Noah Spiak dropping a 51.9 in the 400 and doubling back for a 22.8 in the 200!

Two great races from sophomore Brevin Timm today as he wins the 110 hurdles by a tenth of a second and then comes back in the 400 intermediate hurdles to dip under a minute for the first time
