January 16th, 2024 BCFD responded to a call for a unresponsive person. Crews arrived within minutes and found Timothy Bond 61 in cardiac arrest. Within minutes crews restored his heartbeat. Today Mr Bond and his family came to thank his caregivers! 👏🏼❤️

Bargersville Fire Divers conducted Subsurface Ice Rescue/Recovery training this morning. Diving under ice is a huge challenge both for the diver and their equipment but one that is essential if someone falls through the ice or a vehicle becomes submerged after leaving a roadway.

Bargersville FD, Johnson County Animal Control and the Morgantown FD Large Animal Rescue Team rescued an aging, exhausted gelding named Flash today who became stuck in the mud on a Johnson Co farm. Flash is now safely relocated to a nearby barn where he is recovering.
