In recent weeks, tens of thousands of people have taken to the streets across Israel demanding that the Israeli authorities agree a ceasefire agreement and negotiate the release of hostages. Families of hostages are continuing their march from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem today.

Now is the time to bring an end to the terrible war in Gaza, starting with an immediate humanitarian ceasefire and an immediate and unconditional release of all hostages. It is high time for the parties to show the political courage and political will to finally reach a deal.
