When the Vikings PASS on 3rd or 4th and short (2 or less), they are 4-for-19 (21%) converting first downs this season When they RUN on 3rd or 4th and short (2 or less), they are 10-for-14 (71%) Yet, Kevin O'Connell continues to PASS in those situations more than almost any team

Well… One of my favorite statistical columns is called “first downs.” Since 2022, the Vikings have the highest pass rate on 3rd/4th and short (68%). And they rank 29th in first down conversion rate (42%) on those 3rd/4th and shorts. Something isn’t working.
