British Army’s Ajax vehicle contract was awarded in 2010. Design based on an existing vehicle, armed with a tried and tested gun. £5.5 billion for 589 hulls. As of 2024 the vehicle is still not in full operation. SpaceX has so far spent about $5 billion on Starship R&D. Perhaps

For once at the train station, I thought no, I won’t grab a Ginsters Cornish pasty and a pork pie, I’ll be healthy and chose this king prawn, tomato, basil and pasta salad. Opened it and no fork or spoon so I now have to eat it on the train with my fingers. Bloody healthy living.

The Battle of Fuengirola, 15 Oct 1810, was an engagement between a small force from of the Duchy of Warsaw in the Moorish fortress ar Fuengirola against a much larger Anglo-Spanish expeditionary corps under Gen Andrew Blayney. The Allied force was repulsed & Blayney captured(!).

easyJet doubled down on denying boarding. Stephen Jackson was wrongly turned away from a flight to Alicante. He applied for compensation. easyJet told him airport staff had confirmed he had “invalid documentation”. Airline now says this was another mistake independent.co.uk/travel/news-an…
