Frozen art in OPAL (Outdoor Play And Learning) plus some very well wrapped up pupils!

We know that the costume prep for #WBD2023 can be stressful/expensive. Bardwell pupils made superb themed hats this year, here's a small selection with lots of recycling going on in their designs. Fewer single use costumes going into landfill is a win for us!

Well done to our Y6s who received their leavers' hoodies last week and had a fabulous lunch at the Grumpy Goat Bardwell, after putting in such hard work for their SATs!

We had some fantastic mascots supporting our House teams for Sports Day this year.

Bardwell Nativity 2023. Thank you to all parents & carers for wonderful costumes and help with learning lines. The children were wonderful.

Some of our pupil councillors represented the school at a recent meeting of the Bardwell Parish Council, here are the two councils in the village hall.

The winning design in Bardwell Parish Council's poster competition, aiming to eliminate dog poo from the streets of Bardwell. Well done to winner Frankie and to the 3 runners-up who all got a cash prize.

Our Collective Worship leaders, young and old(er). CW leads help to organise and run our daily collective worship - a particularly important job during Lent.

For #WBD we're NOT dressing up but are asking everyone to bring in one (or lots!) of good quality second hand children's books. We will then set up a book shop café where children can choose a re loved book to give to another member of their class. Image: CrookedQuill.co.uk

The scone making production line is in action for tomorrow's #WorldBookDay2024 'Re-Love A Book Café' with parents/carers! Pupils are bringing in their pre-loved books and re-gifting instead of dressing up.
