Unfortunately due to an issue at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust GP practices can only offer urgent blood tests. If you already have an appt please attend as normal. If you call up to book a routine blood test please be aware there may be a longer wait than normal for an appt.

Unfortunately University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust have asked us to cancel routine and non urgent blood tests in the next week or so. We will contact patients affected individually via text or phone. We are very sorry for this but the issues at the lab are outside our control.

#flujabs for under 65 year olds in at risk groups - we are still contacting patients to book them in as supplies arrive with us from the manufacturer. Unfortunately we only get sent a 100 or so jabs at a time.

We are now booking seasonal flu vaccinations for 50 - 64 year olds. Our next clinic is Sat 12th Dec. If you would like a free flu jab please visit bookeo.com/barcellosfamil… to book a time slot of your choice. Supplies are limited so please book ASAP.

Sadly we are in another national lockdown. Government advice is those who are clinically extremely vulnerable (shielding) should not attend work or school and limit time outside the home. You should only go out for medical appts, exercise, & essential shopping.

#covidvacccine #ferndown 65 to 69-year-olds can now book a COVID-19 jab at the large vaccination centre in the BIC in Bournemouth. Just visit nhs.uk/covid-vaccinat…  or call 119. If the appointments are not suitable, you will be invited to book other options once available.

As per Gov instruction we are currently contacting Cohort 6 patients for their #COVIDVaccine This is a big group so please bear with us - the numbers we can book depend on vaccine supply. If you are eligible we will be in touch.

#COVIDVaccine cohort 6 includes adults in the clinical at risk groups as identified in Green Book as well as Carers.

Unfortunately well controlled asthmatics are not included in cohort 6. This is a #jcvi decision and not in our control. Only asthmatics with a hospital admission due to asthma or 3+ courses of oral steroids in the last 12 months will be offered the #COVIDVaccine
