Invest #99L is holding on, it really is. It is also gaining some Latitude. If this system really forms and takes a name it's going to be a huge story as it's looking really bad currently but conditions are expected to improve before It reaches the islands.

Several reliable dynamical models (ECMWF, CMC, GFS) are trending towards keeping #99L as at least a trackable feature into the Caribbean. Still faces an uphill battle to get classified it seems, but the models have so far done poorly with how quickly they killed it off. Never

Invest #99L has caught back itself by showing the return of convection and it's moving towards the NW now. Since convection is occuring over the LLC, the vortex may tighten and this system would organize as it approaches the Windward Islands.

#91L has dipped in Latitude a bit, I am surprised as the majority of the convection is around 14°N but lets see how this evolves.

0Z GFS has the wave that moves further west on the 20-21st moving into the Southern Windwards as a hurricane. (Note: this is not going to happen)

The Eastern ATL looks quite convectively active for mid Oct, with one AEW (97L) and another one behind it (one to watch) about to come off Africa. The trailing wave is the one global models have been eager to develop and should be watching over the coming week.

CARIBBEAN WATCH - A sneaky tropical wave in the eastern Atlantic bears watching as it enters the Caribbean early next week. Overall conditions look favorable, but there is some disagreement from the models as to what, if any development happens before this reaches the Lesser
