Some of the takes I'm seeing on the cancelled New Sunnydale pilot are borderline idiotic. Introducing an all-new cast across the first episode, then having Buffy appear at the end, in a seemingly dead-end job... BOOM. You want to see where that goes. That is called storytelling.
