I had the chance to go on the Rational Reminder Podcast podcast and discuss Stoicism and investing. I am already a huge fan of the show and their approach to rational decision making, so it was a great chance to draw out some of the similarities with Stoicism.

I got these beautiful Stoic books written by Phil Van Treuren. They are simple, well written, illustrated stories that share Stoic values and lessons. These are great as an introduction to Stoicism, particularly for kids. Looking forward to returning to these.

I was off Twitter the last few days. I am grateful to everyone at #KQED and everyone who helped make this story happen. #TheJacka was truly one of the best from The Bay to ever do it- and he is missed.

To any aspiring stoics out there, what was the first #stoic practice that helped you see the value of the lifestyle? For me it was The View From Above and Voluntary Discomfort. After doing those 3-4 weeks, I understood it. What about you? Donald J. Robertson

Got to chat with Gregory B. Sadler - That Philosophy Guy about lesser known historical criticisms of Stoicism, from Hegel and Nietzsche, to the Neo-Aristotelians. Greg and I also discussed the value of being an eclectic in your philosophy. Thanks for a great chat Greg! stoameditation.com/blog/gregory-s…
