Teachers are 6 times more engaged and effective when they feel like they are valued, supported, appreciated and their talents are used. Sadly Gallup also reports that 7 out of 10 teachers are not emotionally connected or they’re dissatisfied at work. Districts have to do better.

Excellent pts by FHS teacher about phones/SM distracting students, impeding their learning & negatively affecting mental health. I’d be 100% supportive of a no📱 policy in schools, as long as they’re accessible in an emergency. I’ve read of schools who’ve done this w/ success.

This year, FJH choirs received a grant from the center for performing arts in Carmel! They got to see Leslie Odom, Jr. in concert and see the value of live performance! They were awarded a grant to attend, and then also a transportation grant ❤️🎶
