It’s not, but it’s all good! My peers respect and appreciate it more than anything and that’s what matters most… Will it ever happen again? We will seeeee

I have one overarching takeaway: The Big East and the Mountain West should be furious. Absolutely furious. The Big East being the second-highest rated conference by most metrics and only getting three bids is extremely disrespectful. MWC was underseeded across the board.

Is it NET that’s worthless? Or the selection committee? The NET is far from perfect, but it at least helps us strip out some degree of human biases for cross-conference and -team evaluations

Alex (@baldy_bsu) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Yeah yeah the NET isn’t a ranking system, it’s more a sorting system. But how are the NET 25 and NET 27 teams playing a play-in game? That feels like it should be impossible

According tobracket matrix predictions vs actual only 5 teams were more than 1.5 spots below their projected seed - all 5 MWC. Nevada 3.08 BSU 2.43 USU 2.14 CSU 1.97 UNM 1.60 Next closest was Florida at 1.29.

Again, will just note: the committee was going to LEAVE OUT a New Mexico team that is currently a 2.5-point favorite over the committee's No. 6 seeded Clemson if UNM hadn't won its conference tournament. Truly, what in the world was the committee doing this year?

For those who don’t speak Spanish she said “In what world did Michigan State and Texas A&M deserve to be seeded ahead of Boise and CSU?”

Kevin Sweeney (@cbb_central) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Not to mention, Oklahoma, Providence, Seton Hall and St. John’s, the bubble teams with the most to gripe about. Colorado State + Boise had double as many Q1 wins and got sent to Dayton. It’s outrageous that we let these people make livelihood-altering decisions. Clueless.

There’s a selection committee member who’s responsible for advocating on behalf of the mwc, right? Is that person made available to comment? With the committee being so small, feels like that should be the case rather than hearing mainly from the head of committee

How do you feel about the way the Mountain West was seeded? Kevin Sweeney is NOT happy about it. Full After Dark Episode: youtube.com/live/nOgO41WVg…

“This is what CSU looked like when they ran out to a 13-1 record and destroyed Creighton…. “ Well, then what happened? Oh they started playing Mountain West teams?

I’m nervous. Wish I could be more confident. But here’s the bottom line for me. Max Rice literally grew up as part of this program, and now given 6 years as a player. I hope so much that he experiences the first-ever BSU tourney win. It’s do or die time now. Lock in. Let’s go.
