Setting up an MCP Server on a TanStack Start endpoint was... easier than expected! ๐Ÿ‘€ I started without any extra library, then connected drizzle and better-auth to get personalized answers and I deployed on netlify. A quick demo ๐Ÿ‘‡ youtu.be/pIo3wanUrgI

Fun times playing with MCP. Same server, three different behaviours on each client. On vscode everything works, on Kiro the public tools are fine but I get an error when auth comes in, on claude it doesn't even connect to the server ๐Ÿ˜…

As I keep studying how to build an MCP Server from scratch, here's an overview on how I protected a tool with authentication ๐Ÿ”’ youtu.be/LazYBEgfF1M

Today's the day! We're releasing a new major feature of TANSTACK Form for all adapters that allows you to change the validation mode based on submission. (For React nerds that's how RHF works OOTB) No breaking changes, trivial to implement; try it out!

Me: "The log is printed all the time, cache is not working" LLM: "I have removed the log so you wonโ€™t see it on every refresh anymore" Lovely

The Awesome TanStack Start repo got its 100th star โญ๏ธ What a better way to celebrate than adding more entries to the list, I just added 8 of them ๐Ÿ™Œ If you know some integration, project or valuable resource to share, please submit a PR! github.com/Balastrong/aweโ€ฆ

Apparently I slept on some Call for Papers and missed their deadlinesโ€ฆ it wonโ€™t happen anymore! ๐Ÿ“… I just added an Add to Calendar button on ConfHub Discover and submit events: confhub.tech

The TanStack Router Tutorial goes double digit! ๐Ÿ™Œ With today's chapter 10 let's see two different ways of redirecting to the previous page after a successful sign in. A small feature but always nice to have ๐Ÿ‘‡ youtu.be/MXffKeNfOvQ

Shorter attention span clashes with the new AI approach to software development of prompting and waiting N seconds to validate the result I lost count of how many times I try to open linkedin or twitter while waiting for an AI process to complete ...like what am I doing now? lol

Leonardo Montini (@balastrong) 's Twitter Profile Photo

AI: You're absolutely right! I misunderstood the workflow. To be fair I wrote a wrong requirement in my prompt. Thanks for taking the blame, but I would have preferred AI warning me I'm prompting the opposite from the last request ๐Ÿ˜…

Does anyone have an example of i18next on a TanStack Start app? Other localization libraries are ok too, send me the repo link! I'm planning to build a demo to share the coming week anyway, but looking at other implementation is always useful :)

Leonardo Montini (@balastrong) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Doing localization in Server Side Rendered apps usually needs a tiny extra step to avoid hydration issues Here's a way to do that in TanStack Start ๐Ÿ‘‡ youtu.be/w80x52dvrGQ
