In conjunction with Uganda Network of AIDS Service Organization(UNASO) & CSOs, AHF Uganda Cares is hosting a press conference to digest the FY2025/26 budget looking at gains, gaps and implications for the health sector. This is to shape advocacy information for better financing in health. #HealthBudgetUG

As the FY2025/26 15.8% of the total budget. The health sector alone was allocated UGX 5.8 trillion, which is 8% of the overall budget, a slight increase from last yr. While this shows some progress, it's still far from the 15% target UG committed to under the Abuja Declaration.
