Apparently maternity has a lot to learn from airline safety. Maybe, but when did an airplane ever take off short staffed? I bet Bob from baggage has never been asked to co pilot a plane because they were short staffed. X

More calls for culture change (sleaze, dishonesty, lack if accountability) in Parliament. Don't you get tired if it. In 2015 Sir Jeremy Hunt MP told Parliament that NHS culture change would take 10 years. Or perhaps 20. Or never? Hey-ho! Expect nothing and you won't be disappointed.

Midwifery is a highly skilled profession with huge responsibility - the foundations for safer maternity care have to start with a valued & cared for workforce. It’s clear this isn’t how many midwives are feeling. The government must do much more to address the reasons why.
