Proud to have been a part of this record-breaking result for Labour in Greenwich. For the first time ever, every single ward has a Labour Councillor, and in every single ward Labour topped the poll. A huge thanks to every activist who helped and candidate who put up with me. 🙌

I am honoured to be given the opportunity to lead Royal Borough of Greenwich as its first Black Leader. It will be a privilege to serve residents in the Borough I grew up in. Dealing with the #CostOfLiving crisis, #ClimateEmergency, & health inequality will be my priorities.

I want a vision for the Royal Borough of Greenwich that is shared by residents, staff & partners. A vision that we can all believe in, work towards, & be accountable to. That's why we launched 'Our Greenwich', to help draft the council's vision for 2030.
