Brandon Hasbrouck has talked about the importance of appointing movement judges to challenge existing orthodoxies and injustices. Hereās Judge Reeves showing up and showing out again!

I had the great privilege to chair our lateral appointments committee. My colleagues on the committee Kish Parella and Brian Murchison were incredible to work with. We spent a collective year recruiting such extraordinary people. Iām excited for W&L Law School and our community!

This piece is special to me. I conceived of this project during a text exchange with my brother. He unexpectedly passed away at 39 while I was working on it. I miss him. I am forever grateful to The Yale Law Journalātheir editors are brilliant and kind. So much love went into this.
