Does anyone else find themselves gravitating towards a specific character type when writing? Are your character's angry and stoic despite that not being who you are at all?

There's advice to put your piece aside for a few months before edits, but I tend to remember everything no matter how long of a break I take, down to specific lines. I usually work on other books or projects to make sure my skill is progressing as I edit.Does anyone else do this?

I love seeing people advertise their books here in the #WritingCommunity but what about your short stories? If you want more people to check them out, leave a link bellow to where I can find them so we can share some love!

Reading Steering the Craft has been AMAZING and so incredibly helpful! If anyone would be interested in following the exercises she has written in here together or doing the critique sessions, lmk! It has really brought me back down to line level writing
