A1: RT and guided rdg go hand in hand, T is leading and modeling discussion while st r using good reader strategies that they may not be able to complete on their own, it also allows for more st participation and it’s easier to observe #RTfab4

A2: comprehension charts can visually cue the st to assist w using strategies, it’s also available as a reference for furthering discussion, and st can share in the discussion using sticky notes that can later be placed in their ISN to see future growth #RTfab4

A3: I ❤️ the idea of wearing a “coach” visor during sm grp as a reminder to the st and myself. I am there to guide them as they do the work w holds them accountable while I assist them in using RT think alouds and strategies #RTfab4

A4: assessment options could be to observe st one at a time or observe based on strategy during guided rdg. Quick coaching sessions r also used to track st while giving them one on one attention #RTfab4

A5: RT during intervention could be seen previewing pics, making predictions prior to reading, coaching st w difficult words, reading silently while working one on one w others, and rereading to build confidence, fluency and comprehension #Rtfab4
