My dad spent his career building a small, independent allergy practice in Augusta, Georgia. It was our family business and it was his life's work. When it came time for him to retire, he wanted to pass it on to someone who would continue that work but no one wanted it. Not

20 to 30 years from now, the same people that ridiculed Kasoa would have wished that they invested in Kasoa. It is one of the fastest developing areas in Ghana and now is the time to invest in it before it’s too late for you!

Grandma took 4 Ghanaian children to Bulgaria for a competition. They lost their luggage whilst in transit and had to rely on our cousins from Senegal to play their drums for her children to dance Adowa. In short, it was a disaster. Watch full interview here

A lot of people are quick to call out international media that potray Africa as a desolate continent with starving kids and unending wars but these same people are will mock Kasoa as being dangerous and filthy without stepping a foot there. 1/3

Kasoa isn't perfect but it's home to so many people that live peacefully without having to look over their shoulders. Many parts of Kasoa are very clean and organized and not flood prone as many people say it is. The old market was probably the filthiest place in Kasoa 2/3

And even that has been demolished to build a well structured market where sanitation will be strongly enforced. Kasoa is on its way to becoming a huge hub and your negative comments will not even stop that from happening! Conduct thorough research on Kasoa and you'll find out!3/3

When you visit your parents or grandparents, go through their medicine box. Check the expiry dates and remove any expired medicines, as well as those that are no longer in good condition. That is also a form of showing love and care for your parents.

~15,000 babies in Ghana are born with sickle cell disease each year A 2021 study from Korle Bu Teaching Hospital found only 5.5% of 354 patients were diagnosed at birth No national newborn SCD screening exists yet universal paternity testing is the priority? Make it make sense

I don’t know how Ghanaians are living dollar to dollar in a country that uses cedis. We’re really working miracles around here.

FIRST CALL AS HO IN FMW Woke up to serve IV medications that morning as the slave I was. The nurse woke up too for her morning medications. While she was going, she saw one CKD patient sleeping and asked the daughter how the woman was and she said the woman had been sleeping

My (former) wife is very crunchy granola. So when she was pregnant, she wanted midwives, not a hospital. But because we weren't fools, we went with midwives who had a birthing center IN THE HOSPITAL. But that never happened. Instead, seven weeks before the due date, we were at
