EF 7 filled the gap for executing 𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗸 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀. You can now run a proper SQL UPDATE statement using LINQ. I could've used this years ago, but it's better late than never. ExecuteUpdate allows you to write a query and run a bulk update operation on the entities
