Today, I officiated the graduation of female officers of the Somali Police Force who completed a 90-day specialized security training. I urged them to serve our nation with integrity and reaffirmed the vital role of women in strengthening Somalia’s security institutions.

120 officers from the Somali Police Force, including the Dervish Police Unit, successfully completed their training today. The Government of Somalia remains committed to strengthening and professionalizing the police to safeguard national security and stability.
